Dr. Manu Thakrar is a retired Pediatric Dentist. He practiced dentistry for close to 40 years in Rochester, NY. 

After retiring, he and his wife moved to Austin where their son, Anooj, is a partner in a national law firm. Dr. Thakrar was fairly involved in the Rochester community. He often provided pro-bono dental treatment and care to those without insurance and unable to pay. 

Dr. Thakrar is married to Dr. Parul Thakrar, also a retired dentist. 

Together, they spend time in Austin enjoying their family, particularly their three grandchildren. They also enjoy socializing with new friends, attending religious functions, taking walks in their neighborhood and exploring new restaurants. They have joined the HC4A Foundation Board after learning about HC4A’s mission and impact.”
