Barbara is the Vice President of Programs at HC4A. With a rich background in educational consultancy and a steadfast commitment to supporting homeless students, Barbara has significantly advanced HC4A’s mission over the years. Her experience includes leading the Texas Homeless Education Office at The University of Texas at Austin and serving as the Texas State Coordinator for Homeless Education at the Texas Education Agency.
Barbara has shown remarkable leadership in her field, notably through her work with the National Association for the Education of Homeless Children and the Texas Homeless Network. She played a pivotal role in developing comprehensive training tools for the nation’s homeless education liaisons, commissioned by the US Department of Education.
Barbara continues to drive our program development to expand our educational philanthropy efforts, directly benefiting underprivileged communities with educational resources and scholarships. Her expertise and passion for education equity will be invaluable in our quest to bridge income disparity through education.
